Short Description of Trainer

Corby is a young girl originally from Pallet Town that Korey meets wandering en route. Worried about the younger girl as she doesn't seem to be carrying any Pokemon, Korey approaches her and tries to talk to her, but scared Corby runs off. Korina coaxed her into taking her to the Pokemon Center for some help, where she believed the girl was mute until she spoke the phrase "Please don't hurt me.". Korina, knowing what was right decided to help the poor girl. Soon Korina became friends with her and taught her sign language.


Background Information

Corby doesn't know her real name, Lilly. Corby was the name Korina gave her when she found the young girl wandering en route. Corby has difficulty speaking and suffers an intense degree of short term memory, stuttering a lot due to shyness. She tends to keep to herself due to this, but this causes Korey to show an immense amount of strength and courage trying to help her and heal her. Corby can't recall her parents, or the fact she ran away from home, but oddly enough seems to recall her Pokemon. Korey eventually teaches Corby how to sign, and the results were stunning. Apparently, Corby's mother Linda did love her daughter to pieces but was scared for her to train Pokemon. She fed the idea all Pokemon were dangerous and only wanted to harm people. Linda was very protective of her daughter and loved her, but showed this in a more negative way by lying and putting Corby down. No matter what her daughter did, Linda wasn't completely pleased. Finally, she had enough one day and ran away from her home at the age of thirteen.


Personality

Corby is a shy person and is always around Korina and doesn't talk to strangers even when introduced. She knows how to sign to Korina to talk to people, but she'll only do it with certain people she likes. Around Korina she's always excitable and giggly, but without her she's very upset and fearful. She trusts Korina and knows she'll protect her from any harm. Korina hopes that one day she'll break out of her shell, because she's seen her courage.


Battling Style of Trainer

Corby is almost petrified to battle at first, as she thought she knew everything at first and was excited, but once she saw a Pokemon get hurt in a fight she becomes nervous. but soon learns a good battle has good outcomes for both her Pokemon, but even as she continues to learn from Korey she is always nervous to hurt another's Pokemon, or let her Pokemon get hurt. She's always nervous she will do the wrong thing. When she loses, Corby will always run crying to Korina.

A Jigglypuff nicknamed Rose, that she caught under the help of Korina.


Where the Trainer Is Before the Story Begins

Corby was waiting out in the Pokemon Center for Korina and Gabriele to come back from their walk, but sees that Korina is all sad because Gabriele didn't come back from the walk and signs to where what had happened. Korina explains she doesn't know what happened to her friend, but knows that they need to go and find her. Corby agrees and follows her close friend.

* Corby wears pink roller blades that were bought by Korina. She likes to place Pokemon stickers on them.
* Corby has a secert crush on Eann Pieris, but won't tell anyone but Korina
