Short Description of Trainer

Korina Starr, she prefers to be called Korey by everyone, is the daughter of Commander Starr, a well-known member of the Pokémon Police Force. She hopes to become a police officer like her mother in the future or a teacher.

Background Information

Korina was an eager child when she was younger, always wanting to explore and discover new worlds with her friends, but after an accident with a Wild Pokémon, she became scared of the Pokémon world and vowed never to go out on her adventure when she turned 10 years old. She soon met Gabriele when she was 13 years old, and her idea of the Pokémon World changed with her. She caught her Pikachu, which was her first Pokémon, and the two had been close friends ever since that day. They travelled to Pallet Town together where Korey received her Squirtle, then her and Gabriele started out on their journey across Kanto together. Though Korina wasn’t as strong as Gabriele, she didn’t really know who could be as strong as Gabriele; her friend would always train her and her Pokémon. Currently right now, she has 6 gym badges.

Personality

Her personality is very quiet and shy. She is very polite to strangers, but she doesn’t try to take notice with them. In a group of people she doesn’t know, she usually just stands in the back observing everyone, seeing if she can trust them. Only then will she introduce herself. She can lose her emotions sometimes, but only when she’s hurt by her friends. Sometimes she feels down about herself and usually gives up. She is a very sincere and kind person to her friends, her laughter and smile is her key points.

Battling Style of Trainer

During battles Korey is a little bit nervous, scared that she’ll injure someone’s Pokémon so badly that they’ll need to be rushed to the Pokémon Center immediately. She loves her Pokémon and always believes in them to do their best. She is nervous at first when battling, but seems to become quite comfortable battling. Sometimes, she can become very intense in certain battles and almost becomes determined to win.

Her first Pokémon was a Pikachu that her close friend Gabriele caught for her, and gave to her when they both became friends.

Where the Trainer Is Before the Story Begins

Korey is introduced, with Gabriele, as there are taking a walk down a route, and when suddenly something comes up with Gabriele which caused her to disappear suddenly. Very confused about where her friend disappeared too, she tried to
contact her, but she gets no answer.

* Korina wears the necklace of the Poliwarth all the time, because it was given to her close friend Acelyn Rozen, who she hasn't heard from in many years. She never takes it off and will fight someone if they try and take it off.
